Jessie Baldwin

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Jessie Baldwin graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a degree in sociology focused on social services. Her career spans a diverse range of roles across non-profits and event planning agencies, highlighted by her favorite position as the volunteer coordinator for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Jessie relocated to New Orleans in 2012 following two terms with AmeriCorps NCCC, where she supported efforts with the St. Bernard Project.

In 2026, Jessie joined Loyola University New Orleans College of Law as the program assistant for the Environmental Law Program. She handles event planning, social media management, and administrative support. She thoroughly enjoys engaging with faculty and students on meaningful initiatives that advance environmental justice.
