Entrepreneurship Project

Students interested in transactional work can prepare to practice by joining the Entrepreneurship Project. New Orleans is a national hub for business innovation. It was recently named the No. 1 Brainpower City in the United States by Forbes and the Coolest Startup City in America by Inc.com.  Through the Entrepreneurship Project, students help local start-ups organize their legal entities, develop contracts, and prepare for outside financing. Loyola works with Propeller, a business incubator with a focus on social and environmental ventures, to identify clients. Past clients include 504Healthnet, a nonprofit focused on improving healthcare access and Bricolage Academy, a New Orleans charter school.
